This a hands-on two day encaustic workshop. We will start at the beginning with making encaustic medium and encaustic paint, prepping substrates, applying and fusing wax. We will continue with layering translucent and opaque color, adding and reducing texture, masking, stencils, mark making, image transfer techniques and more. All levels welcome, all materials provided with a $25 fee to instructor, bring a sack lunch for Saturday, take art home on Sunday.
