EXHIBITING AT FOOTHILLS ART CENTER
Foothills Art Center does not accept unsolicited exhibition proposals. If there is an opportunity to apply to a juried component of one of our exhibitions, a prospectus will be listed on this page.
ENTERING EXHIBITIONS ONLINE THROUGH CAFÉ
CaFÉ (which stands for Call for Entry) is one of the more popular websites for entering exhibitions online, and it’s the one that FAC uses for all of our juried exhibitions. We even make it less expensive to apply through CaFÉ – plus, we give you longer to apply!
One of the best things about CaFÉ is that they have great step-by-step instructions to help you use their website. Learn how to apply to calls for entry using CaFÉ. They make it very easy to set up a profile, search for opportunities, and apply to exhibitions.

Golden’s Signal Box Call for Entry
Foothills Art Center and the City of Golden are teaming up to further beautify downtown Golden. Signal boxes are large grey metal boxes located at many intersections in Golden. They contain the hardware for managing the timing of traffic and crossing signals. We would like to ask the community of artists in our state to design and submit artwork to be applied to these boxes. We are very excited for this opportunity to highlight the talent of our local artists in these high traffic and high visibility locations. The signal boxes typically go unnoticed by passersby and in some cases they can be quite unsightly. Rather than taking measures to camouflage them further, we would like to re-purpose them as a showcase for artistic excellence.
Deadline for Entry: October 15th 2019

Conversations with a Curator
Feeling stuck in your path to creative glory? Having trouble getting your work shown? Sometimes it just takes an extra set of eyes and dedicated conversation to break through.
If you are a member of Foothills Art Center you may email to schedule a 30 minute meeting with Eriq Hochuli, Curator at FAC to discuss your artwork and its future.
You will be expected to think a bit about your work and goals before the meeting and bring some work of yours to talk about. Work in progress or digital images are ok.
