Foothills Art Center offers a “cool” Holiday Art Market, featuring handmade creations from over 100 Colorado artists

GOLDEN, Colo….If visions of macramé Santa Clauses spring to mind when you hear “Holiday Art Market,” then you’ve never been to Golden for Foothills Art Center’s beloved annual Holiday Art Market (HART). We kick off with a member preview on Thursday, November 9th at 6 p.m. and open to the public on Friday, November 10th at 10 a.m.

Featuring the creations of 106 local Colorado artists working in the highest standards of handcraft, including fine ceramics, fiber, glasswork, jewelry, paintings, woodworking, photography, holiday items, and more, HART is a “cool” holiday art market and an ideal shopping destination for unique gifts.

According to FAC executive director Hassan Najjar, “Buying a gift from HART is meaningful because you find one-of-a-kind, artisan gifts and you support Colorado artists. It’s one of our most popular events due to the high quality and wide range of artwork and handicraft.”

This is the 43 rd Annual Holiday Art Market, making this one of the most long-running holiday art markets. HART, which opens November 10 and runs through December 30, offers free admission and is held at the Foothills Art Center, 809 Fifteenth Street in downtown Golden.

Hours are Mondays – Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sundays: noon – 5 p.m. For more information, visit www.foothillsartcenter.org.
