This position creates a gracious, welcoming environment for our visitors and members. Greet visitors, answer questions, and process admission, membership and gift gallery sales. A special skill set is required to serve in this role. Requirements include: friendly and professional demeanor, experience working in Microsoft Windows and navigating the internet, good telephone skills, and ability to calmly handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Assist with exhibition opening receptions, patron parties and other special events, like the Holiday Art Market. Depending on your strengths and interests, there is a volunteer position for you! Event volunteers assist with various aspects of event preparation, including set-up, food and refreshment service, reception desk support, clean-up, and other duties.
Help with the marketing and outreach for the exhibitions and events. Assist our staff with social media, distributing marketing materials for exhibitions and even small graphic design tasks using Adobe Creative Suite.
Assist with maintaining the Foothills Art Center grounds. Dependent on the season this might include snow removal, raking leaves, or beautifying the gardens.
Help with the behind-the-scenes work that makes all the exhibitions and programs possible. Assist our staff with clerical tasks, such bulk mail projects, filing, data entry and other projects.
